Jealousy
jealousy - What is the danger of jealousy?
Get rid of all evil behavior. Be done with all deceit, hypocrisy, jealousy, and all unkind speech.

Proverbs 14:30

James 3:16
Don’t worry about the wicked or envy those who do wrong. For like grass, they soon fade away. Like spring flowers, they soon wither.
Psalm 37:1-2
ALL OF US are familiar with jealousy. We might wish for another woman’s house, marriage, style, income, or dress size. If we aren’t careful, our jealous thoughts will become more frequent and come more naturally. When this happens, we need to remember that jealous thoughts embitter us and eventually lead to harmful actions. God’s Word warns that jealousy, if left unchecked, has the power to steal our joy, cause us to miss God’s blessings, divide families, and destroy relationships. When you begin to wish you were someone else or feel angry that someone else has what you don’t, praise God for what you have. Changing your attitude from jealousy to gratitude has the power to change your life.
