Healing

healing - Will God heal the hurts in my life?

For you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.

Malachi 4:2

My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.

Psalm 73:26

He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own.

Philippians 3:21

God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain.

Revelation 21:3-4

WHETHER WE have a physical or mental illness, are battling a spiritual affliction, or feel the ache of a trauma from our past, pain resides deep in each of us. We long for God’s healing, and when it doesn’t happen right away, we can feel disheartened and doubt his goodness. But God’s Word promises two things in our pain: (1) He will heal us—if not in this short life, then for all eternity—and (2) he honors the persistent prayers of his people. He who made our bodies, minds, and hearts can certainly repair and restore them. If you are longing for healing, don’t lose heart. Continue praying with persistence, and trust God to give you the strength you need to get through this season. Be encouraged that someday all your pain will be taken away and you will be healed once and for all.
