Good Out Of Bad
good out of bad - How is God able to bring good out of bad situations?
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.
Romans 5:3-4
We don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
2 Corinthians 4:18
In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory. . . . So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you.
1 Peter 5:10
TRIALS have a way of exposing our hearts; they help us know whether God’s Word has really sunk in. Most of us know intellectually that trials strengthen our character and help us grow, but when we are in a challenging season, we live out the beliefs that are really in our hearts. If you are walking through a trial right now, look to God’s Word for encouragement and comfort. He promises to be present with you—right now in this very moment. He will not abandon you in your trial. You can’t change your circumstances, but you can choose to allow them to strengthen your faith instead of destroy it. Be encouraged because God promises to work everything into something good. You will have to endure these trials for only a little while, and afterward you will experience wonderful joy for all eternity.
