Proverbs 15:15
FROM THE NUMBER of feasts and festivals God instituted for the Israelites, we can tell that he intended for his people to have times of celebration. Following God doesn’t exclude fun. In fact, following God’s commandments is the way to get the most out of life as it was originally created to be enjoyed. God wants us to have rich lives, to celebrate with others, and to find joy in our relationship with him. These important aspects of faith lift our spirits and help us see the beauty and meaning in life. So feel the freedom to laugh with God and others, delight in the ordinary, and experience fun in your life—this is God’s desire for you!
