finishing - Where can I find encouragement to finish well?

Joshua . . . said to them, “I am now a very old man. You have seen everything the LORD your God has done for you during my lifetime. . . . Cling tightly to the LORD your God as you have done until now.”

Matthew 25:23

FEW THINGS are as powerful as the testimony of one who has been faithful to the Lord and has experienced a lifetime of watching him keep his promises. Younger people who listen to these life stories will be greatly encouraged by hearing about decades of God’s faithfulness. If you are young, ask older believers to tell you about their lives with God and encourage you to live today well. If you are older, encourage the younger generations in their faith. No matter what age you are, commit yourself to living each day well so that when you see your Lord face to face, you can hear the words “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
