John 14:27
GOD MUST have known the human heart would be prone to fear, because time and time again his Word reminds us not to be afraid. What’s interesting is that whenever God tells his people not to fear, he always reminds them of his presence with them. The more we reflect on his presence, the less power fear will have over our lives. What we fear the most might be the very thing that produces great faith in us. The next time you feel anxiety consuming your thoughts, remind yourself that your great and awesome God is right beside you. Being aware of his presence will give you strength to stand strong in the face of fear.
