AS WOMEN, we tend to focus on the tasks of today and the problems waiting for us tomorrow. We must take care of our responsibilities, but God also urges us to live with eternity in mind. That is why he has filled his Word with promises about heaven. Thinking about heaven helps us view life differently. We find strength to persevere through trials because we know that this life is not our final destination. The more focused we are on our future with Jesus, the less attached we become to our own plans and to the temporary attractions of this world. If you trust Jesus as your Savior, God promises there is a beautiful future in store for you for all of eternity.
