2 Peter 1:3-4

WHEN THE PRESSURES of life become too much, we often want to relieve the stress by escaping for a while. But whether we use travel, work, social media, family, or food to detach from reality, eventually we will need to face our problems. It’s important to take some breaks to get away, unless they involve indulging in sin or bad habits. Do something that gives you life and energy so you can love others and God well. Spending time with God is the perfect escape, and it can happen anytime, anywhere. Going outside, spending time in prayer, or meditating on God’s Word will reenergize you and give you the strength you need to face any difficult situations.
