THE CHURCH is home to all of God’s family. Home is meant to be a place of safety and belonging. It is a place to teach and counsel one another in wisdom, to encourage each other, and to worship together. God’s home cannot run as he intended without each of his children present. The enemy wants us to believe that we are insignificant in the church, that our presence doesn’t matter. He whispers excuses in our ears to keep us from attending. But the truth is that we each have a special place in God’s family. Have you ever thought that maybe the church needs you just as much as you need the church? Step out in faith and watch how God will use your special gifts and abilities to impact the lives of others.
