Character
character - What is the key to becoming a woman with godly character?
The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Galatians 5:22-23
God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.
Philippians 2:13
Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.
John 15:5
Keep on doing what is right, and trust your lives to the God who created you, for he will never fail you.
1 Peter 4:19
God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God.
Matthew 5:8
WE WORK HARD all our lives to become excellent at what we do. We try to excel in work, marriage, mothering, friendships, ministries, and hobbies. Doesn’t it make sense to also work hard at becoming morally excellent so we can be known for character qualities like integrity, kindness, love, and faithfulness? The only way to grow in godly character is by spending time with our Lord. God promises that as we continually seek relationship with him and try to do what he asks, we will become more and more like Jesus through the help of the Spirit.
