Behavior
behavior - If God cares most about what is on the inside, why does godly behavior matter?
Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.
Matthew 7:20
Let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.
Matthew 5:16
Blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice.
Luke 11:28
Don’t participate in the darkness of wild parties and drunkenness, or in sexual promiscuity and immoral living, or in quarreling and jealousy.
Romans 13:13
WE LIVE from the inside out. What we believe, desire, and think about comes out through our behavior. Faith alone is enough for salvation, but our actions are the evidence that our faith is genuine. If you have made a confession of faith in Jesus and still have not seen any difference in your behavior, it may be time to pause and reflect with God about what is in your heart. Maybe you’re scared to change out of fear that others will judge or reject you. Perhaps you are having a hard time breaking old habits because you aren’t quite convinced that God’s way is really best. Whatever the reason, God desires an authentic relationship with you. He isn’t interested in changing your behavior so you can act more “Christian.” He is interested in changing your heart so that your actions reflect a woman who seeks, loves, and trusts him.
