Beauty
beauty - How can I develop a beautiful soul?
Women who claim to be devoted to God should make themselves attractive by the good things they do.
1 Timothy 2:10
Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.
1 Peter 3:3-4
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the LORD, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season.
Psalm 1:1-3
THE WORLD tempts women to believe that beauty comes from having the right hairstyle, jewelry, or clothes. But we know this kind of beauty will fade and be quickly forgotten. Do you want to develop beauty that will last—beauty that goes far deeper than physical appearance? You may wonder if this is even possible. It is! This kind of beauty shines out from inside of you and never fades because it flows from your heart. Your heart becomes lovely as you spend more time with God. Moses spent forty days with him on a mountaintop. When he came down, his face was radiant—not because of anything he did, but simply because he had spent time in God’s presence. This is the kind of beauty God will give you. Remember, there is nothing more radiant than someone who has spent time in God’s company.
