Attitude

attitude - How can I have a positive attitude during hard times?

Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! . . . Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

Philippians 4:4, 6

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Romans 12:2

WE MAY NOT be able to control what happens to us, but we can control how we react to our circumstances. How we think about something impacts our actions, our hearts, and our souls. That is why it is so important to bring every problem to God in prayer. The next time you find yourself focusing on the negative, immediately ask God to renew your mind. This is the first step in allowing him to transform you into a godly person by changing the way you think. That’s why the Bible doesn’t just suggest being joyful or generous—it commands it! God knows this is what is best for you. Trust that he will give you the strength you need to get through difficult times with a thankful and hopeful heart.
