When I want my home to be an inviting place

Dear Jesus,

When people enter my home, I do all I can to make them feel welcome and wanted. But sometimes I get caught up with the cleanliness and condition of my house and I don’t want to have people in. Give me a true spirit of hospitality that focuses on people and not on peripherals. Make my home an example of your grace and a foretaste of the hospitality we’ll enjoy in heaven.
