When I’m looking for more meaning in this life

Dear God over all things,

As a heaven-bound follower of yours, help me always to put heaven and earth in proper perspective. As I focus on the unique role you have planned for me in eternity, help me to find purpose and meaning in how I live each day until then. May my thoughts, plans, words, and actions be an investment in my eternal future.

Our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! 2 Corinthians 4:17
