A prayer for Courage

When I’m feeling alone and afraid

Lord God,

Sometimes the challenges of life make me fearful. Help me to remember that you are stronger than my biggest problem or my worst enemy. Thank you for helping me with your limitless power. I know that courage doesn’t come from confidence in my own strength, but only from confidence in you. Thank you for the courage to face whatever lies ahead.

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10
