A prayer for Inspiration

When I want my faith to inspire others

Dear Lord,

Just as I have been inspired by others’ stories of faith, may my story be an inspiration to someone today. May I not be afraid to talk about your past blessings, how I came to know you, and how you have guided me in so many ways. May I speak and act in a manner that shows my complete confidence in you and your promises to love and guide those who follow you. By remembering how you have helped me in the past, I pray that I can help others get excited about the blessings that await them in the future. Please take my simple story of faith and let it inspire someone to begin his or her own journey with you.

Commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these words of mine. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Teach them to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Deuteronomy 11:18-19
