A prayer for God’s Timing

When I grow impatient waiting for God to act

Dear God,

I am so frustrated because I have prayed and prayed, but it feels like you’re not answering! What I’m asking of you seems so obviously in tune with your will, so why make me wait? I know your timing is different from mine, and I really struggle with accepting your time frame. Help me to be patient and trust that your timing will be perfect. I cannot see what is up ahead, and ultimately I want what you know is best for me. I have heard it said that you are rarely early, but you’re never late. So help me to wait quietly for you to act and be confident that your way is best. When I am able to wait without becoming restless or agitated, I am trusting fully in your timing.
