When I need forgiveness

Dear God,

I’ve messed up, and I expect to face the consequences. I’m asking you to help me start over. When my heart is sincere and I truly want forgiveness, you give me another chance—again and again. Sometimes I wonder why. How can you continue to forgive me? Your patient and repeated forgiveness is proof that you desire a personal relationship with me. Thank you that your mercy never ends.
