A prayer for Energy

When I’m tired or unenthusiastic about my work

Dear God,

I’m so tired, and I feel as if I have no energy for the things I need to do each day. When I’m feeling lazy or bored with my tasks, help me to remember that I’m working for you. Infuse my labors with a sense of divine purpose so I can work with genuine enthusiasm. Help me to honor and please you in all that I do.

Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Ephesians 6:7
