A prayer about the Promises Of God

When I need to cling to the promises of God

Lord of heaven and earth,

How could I have any hope without your promises? I cling to so many. You promise salvation to all who accept the gift. You promise to be with me in the form of the Holy Spirit. You promise to forgive me whenever I do wrong, if I just ask you. And you promise that nothing I do is beyond your forgiveness. You promise peace of heart and mind when I entrust my life to you. You promise to use even the bad things that happen to me for good purposes. And best of all, you promise that Jesus is coming back to judge the world and to bring your followers into your presence forever. I praise you for your wonderful promises, Lord! May I now promise to follow and worship you, the one who always keeps his promises.
