A prayer about the Armor Of God

When I need protection from spiritual attacks

Almighty God,

As I experience spiritual warfare, help me stand my ground against Satan through the mighty power of Jesus Christ in me. May I see beyond my human enemies to the real spiritual enemy, whom I cannot fight by myself. I must use the armor you have given me to resist his attacks. Right now I feel especially prone to spiritual attack. I need all of your armor! If Satan can conquer my heart and turn me against you, how will I be able to influence others to stay strong in the faith? Lord, I want to be a person of peace, but in this case I must fight with all my strength and use every available weapon you have given me. I cannot completely defeat Satan while I live on this earth, but I can resist him. The enemy specializes in putting obstacles in my path, but you, O God, specialize in helping me overcome them. I pray that you will equip me for battle, so that I will be victorious both in this life and in eternity.

Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. Ephesians 6:10-11
