Where is the passion in a faith relationship with God?

Dear God,

It is a wonderful feeling when another person expresses affection for me. When I know that someone truly enjoys my company and is captivated by me, I feel confident and secure, and I long to return the affection. As I read the Bible, I am amazed to see that you, too, are a romantic who desires intimate relationships. Father, as I realize my value to you, ignite in my heart a deep hunger to know you.
