Why does God pursue me?

Heavenly Father,

The Bible says that you desire a relationship with every person you have created. Your love relentlessly calls us to turn away from sin and toward an eternal relationship with you. Though you want us to respond positively, you graciously allow us the freedom to choose whether to return your love. Lord, I am captivated by your pursuit of me.
