A prayer about Appreciation

What is the importance of expressing my appreciation to others?

Lord Jesus,

Sometimes it’s just nice to feel appreciated. So why am I so reluctant to offer that gift to others? Don’t let me miss an opportunity to express my appreciation—to thank people and build them up. People need to know that they’re noticed, cared for, and important. Work through me, Lord, so that my words of encouragement may bring a spark of divine grace into someone else’s life.

I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly. Ephesians 1:16
