When I want to become like Christ

Heavenly Father,

You are righteous, loving, and just. How can I ever become like you? But your Word tells me that when I believe in you and obey you, your Holy Spirit works in me to change my interests and desires to reflect yours. Thank you for your transforming power in my life.

The Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. 2 Corinthians 3:18
