When I wonder how my family can make a difference

Father God,

So often I think about my life in individualistic terms: How can I make an impact? What can I do? But you work through groups of people, too, including families. Show my family how we can influence others for you, Lord. Teach us to serve together, and use us to accomplish great things for your Kingdom.

How joyful are those who fear the LORD and delight in obeying his commands. Their children will be successful everywhere; an entire generation of godly people will be blessed. . . . Their good deeds will last forever. Psalm 112:1-3
