A prayer about Tithing

When I ponder how giving reflects God’s heart

Generous God,

You pour out more blessings on me than I could ever deserve. The gift of life, the gift of love, the gift of salvation, the gift of eternity in heaven—all these are priceless, and I am forever grateful for your generosity. You originated the concept of giving! And one of the great and unique promises you made in your Word is that the more I give, the more I receive—not necessarily in material possessions, but in spiritual and eternal rewards. Thank you for that promise, Lord. May I invest myself in you and your Kingdom and follow your example in giving generously.
