A prayer about the Heart

When I need my heart to be transformed

Lord,

I want to be a woman you can use. Please change my heart! What is keeping me from submitting to your direction? If it is my pride, please help me to develop an attitude of humility. When I humble myself before you, I will be more open to your guidance. I also need to get rid of some sinful habits that are weighing me down and keeping me far from you. Help me to repent, to stop these bad habits, and to choose the righteous way. I know that you want to work in my life to make me more like you. May I practice obeying your Word, and as I do, may I see my heart begin to be transformed into your image.

Throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy. Ephesians 4:22-24
