A prayer about Decisions

When I wonder how my decisions make a difference in my walk with God

Heavenly Father,

Sometimes the little decisions in my life don’t seem too important. But I know that each right decision puts me a little further down the path you want me to travel—the path of knowing you and being conformed to your likeness. I don’t want to go astray. May I be faithful in the little things, because that will keep me in the center of your will. When I’m obeying you, serving others, reading your Word, and doing what is right, I will make good decisions. And doing all those things will draw me closer to you and cause me to be more sensitive to your leading in my life. In the little decisions and the big ones, may I press on to know you and to be faithful to you.

Oh, that we might know the LORD! Let us press on to know him. He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring. Hosea 6:3
