A prayer about the Future

When I worry about the future

Father God,

I’m feeling insecure about the future, and that makes it easy to doubt your care for me. I’m tempted to think that you are not paying attention to me. Forgive me for doubting you, Lord. I know that you are my loving creator. You are love. How could you hold anything back? I cling to this hope as I look toward the future.

“I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
