A prayer about Diversity

When I ponder the diverse body of Christ

Heavenly Father,

You designed me to contribute to the body of Christ, the church. The human body is made up of separate and different parts, yet all parts work together to sustain life. It’s the same with your church. In your wisdom you have created a unique role for each believer. You’re showing me that our diversity can enhance harmony. Teach me to be faithful in my part; may it help sustain the body of Christ and allow it to flourish.

All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it. 1 Corinthians 12:27
