A prayer about Strength

When I need strength for today

Father God,

I know I’m wasting a lot of energy focusing on the past. The more regrets and worries I drag around, the heavier the load I will carry today and the less energy I will have for tomorrow. Please help me, Lord. Release me from my fears and regrets, and free me to work enthusiastically toward the future you have prepared for me.

Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. Philippians 3:13-14
