A prayer about Patience

When I wonder how waiting can make my faith stronger

Lord,

You often ask me to wait. Sometimes waiting saves me from defeat, and other times it prepares me for a special task you have for me. I may not understand why, Lord, but please teach me that waiting is never time wasted. May I not misuse it by being anxious for whatever is next. I want to serve you even as I wait for you to accomplish the next good thing in my life.

Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act. Psalm 37:7
