A prayer about Gratitude

When I am thankful for God’s blessings

Lord God,

You have given me far more than I realize—life, salvation, your Holy Spirit, comfort, encouragement, freedom from sin. And it’s all undeserved! You gave it all freely because of your love for me. O Lord, may I never become ungrateful; instead, may I always respond with overflowing thankfulness for your kindness to me.

It is good to give thanks to the LORD . . . to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening. Psalm 92:1-2
