A prayer about Apology

When I need to make something right

Lord God,

Saying that I’m sorry for something I did wrong is difficult for me. My pride so often gets in the way, and I know that can have devastating effects on my life and relationships. Help me, Lord, to be willing to apologize. I know this will open the door to healing and blessing. Teach me to face the issue head-on, admit my fault, and then humble myself enough to confess it to the one I have wronged. May my sincere apology be the first step in changing my behavior and committing to do the right thing from that point on. Thank you that you are always willing to hear my contrite apology and respond with grace and forgiveness.
