A prayer about Meditation

When I want to improve my spiritual focus

Lord,

Teach me to set aside time to think about you, talk to you, and listen to you. Help me to remove myself from the noise of the world around me and move within range of your voice. I want to hear you, Lord. Prepare me to be teachable; may I allow you to mold my desires into what you desire. I know you can bring my thoughts and actions in line with your will as I focus on you.

Be still, and know that I am God! Psalm 46:10
