A prayer about Helplessness

When I don’t know what to do

Lord God,

I’m worn down by my circumstances, and I feel helpless. When I look at my situation, I am without hope and I’m blind to the many ways in which you may already be helping me. Give me insight to see my situation from your perspective, Lord. As I look through the eyes of faith, I know I will find the hope and help only you can give.

LORD, you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely you will hear their cries and comfort them. Psalm 10:17
