A prayer about Faithfulness

When I need to be careful of falling into sin

Lord,

I don’t want to fall into sin, so I know I need to guard my heart. Teach me to stop problems before they start by guarding my heart from ungodly thinking. I can’t trust my emotions to tell me what is right or good because they’re too easily swayed. Instead, may I always trust your Word to guide me. The truths there come from your heart, which is good and perfect.

Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. Proverbs 4:23
