When I want to live in contact with God

Heavenly Father,

I don’t want to go through the motions of faith. I want to genuinely be in contact with you! Grant me a pure, soft heart that will be ready to experience your work in me. Thank you for your Holy Spirit, who instructs me and inspires me to respond with obedience. Give me the insight to recognize your Spirit encouraging me, empowering me, and guiding me in your ways.

God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God. Matthew 5:8
