A prayer about Needing God

When I need to seek the Lord

Heavenly Father,

I need you every hour. Sometimes I don’t notice my need, but today it’s heavy upon me. May I respond by seeking you wholeheartedly. Your Word tells me that when I look for you, I will find you. O Lord, may I find a quiet place in which to escape from this busy world and listen for your voice. Speak to me, that I may be refreshed and come forth ready again to follow you.

When you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you. Matthew 6:6
