When I want to learn from the events of my life

Father,

My circumstances change all the time. But whether my life is filled with sunshine or with rain, you never change, and neither does your love for me. May I accept my circumstances with thanksgiving, and may I always trust you for your constant presence and comfort.

Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. Colossians 4:2
