A prayer about Convictions

When I want my beliefs to affect my life

Holy God,

I’m committed to the belief that Jesus is my Savior. Teach me always to live in such a way that convictions like this one are evident in what I think, say, and do. If I believe that you love me and created me, then out of this conviction should come the commitment to live by your Word, to serve others, and to fulfill your purpose for my life. May my convictions prepare me to live an effective life of faith, for your glory.

You must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News. Colossians 1:23
