When I want to help my church

Heavenly Father,

You have given every believer special gifts. Some people are great organizers; others are gifted musicians, teachers, or even dishwashers. Teach me how important it is to use my gifts in my congregation. As we serve, may the church become a powerful force for good, a strong witness for you, and a mighty army to combat Satan’s attacks. I am thankful that the body of Christ has a place for me.

Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. Romans 12:4-5
