A prayer about Caring

When I desire to help others

Lord,

Your very nature is to care for others, and I am made in your image. Please move my heart with compassion for those around me who are in need. May I be willing to provide for others, share with them, comfort them, or just be present with them. I want to please you, Lord, and I want to reflect your nature in the way I exhibit compassion for others.

The King will say, “I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!” Matthew 25:40
