A prayer about Attitude

When I need a better attitude

Lord God,

I know that how I view my problems determines my outlook on life. If I see them as obstacles, I will develop an attitude of bitterness, cynicism, and hopelessness. But if I see problems as a crucible for strengthening my character and my convictions, I will learn to rise above them. Even when it’s hard to be thankful for the hard times, teach me how to be thankful in them because you are refining me.

Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
