A prayer about Appreciation

When I need to express my appreciation to others

Merciful God,

I can still remember some of the encouraging words others have said to me. Whether they came through a note from a friend, a kind word from a teacher, or a conversation with a mentor, those words showed that someone noticed me, appreciated me, and saw potential in me. Father, those around me need words of appreciation and encouragement too. Please open my eyes to opportunities to build others up. May my words bless others.
