A prayer about Celebration

When my heart is full of rejoicing

Most glorious Lord,

We celebrate earthly milestones such as birthdays, marriages, and births. But you have given me the best reason of all to celebrate: you have rescued me from the consequences of sin and shown me the way to heaven! When I celebrate, I take my focus off my problems and put it on you and your blessings. I praise you because I have so much to celebrate!

Let us be glad and rejoice. . . . For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb. Revelation 19:7
