PRECIOUS SAVIOR,

Paul wrote that dying was better than continuing to live, not because he would be free from sin and suffering, and not even because of heaven’s glories, but because he would be with you. I long for that, Jesus—to see you face-to-face. Help me live today in light of that eventual reality.

I’m torn between two desires: I long to go and be with Christ, which would be far better for me. Philippians 1:23
