A Prayer About Worship

When I walk into church

LORD,

When at church services, I usually enjoy the singing, preaching, sacraments, and interactions with others. I think I’m in a worship rut, however, with my mind wandering. Please refresh my soul. I want to again worship you in “truth”—understanding your Word—and “spirit”—fully engaged as I enter your holy presence.

True worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. John 4:23
